Ordered, that the Treasurer of the Commonwealth be requested to furnish a statement of the gross amount of receipts into the treasury in each and every year since the year eighteen hundred and twenty-five, from all sources, except moneys borrowed [electronic resource].

On January 12, 1842, the House of Representatives asked the Treasurer for a table of receipts and expenditures, borrowings and repayments from 1825 to 1842. On January 20, 1842, the Treasurer responded with the table and a detailed explanation of the columns.
