The Committee on Pensions, to whom was referred the Bill (S. 1259) granting arrears of pension to W.N. Berkley, late a lieutenant in Company K, Forty-eighth Illinois Volunteers, respectfully report that the claimant has decided to prosecute his application for increase in the Pension Office, and therefore recommend that the bill be indefinitely postponed.
