The Committee on Military Affairs, to whom were referred the resolutions of the Society of the Army of the Potomac, in favor of an appropriation for continuing and completing the history of the Battle of Gettysburg, by John B. Batchelder, and the letter of the Secretary of War communicating, in answer to the Senate resolution of March 4, 1874, information concerning the data from which the positions of the troops were added to the engineer's maps of the Gettysburg battlefield, recently published, having had the same under consideration, submit the following report...
