Description
Summary:The dynamic instability of easterly disturbances is investigated in terms of the variation of the coriolis parameter with latitude and the characteristic features of the flow pattern in temperate and low latitudes by means of a two-layer model. The results show that this model rise to easterly disturbances of relatively short wavelength of about 2400 km.
