The study also attempts to resolve some misconceptions about the Finglish dialect (English that conforms to Finnish spelling, pronunciation, inflection, and syntax on a highly idiosyncratic basis) and to investigate its effects upon the English language. A section on Finnish and Finglish vocabulary is also included. (Author/DB)
