Description
Summary:The document is the final report of the career development outreach project. The project was designed to actively involve a systematic program of career education, dissemination of occupational information, and career guidance. The project was to make the target population (students, faculty, and staff at the University of Maine at Farmington and individuals referred by community agencies) cognizant of the career resources available to them when making career choices and also to encourage the target population to make their career decision based on realistic information. The functions (individual counseling, testing, placement, community service, group counseling, and resource library) of the center have been tested over the years and proven successful. Survey instruments, forms, and instructional material are appended. (KB)
