Description
Summary:The North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) Commission on Schools appointed a task force to develop proposed standards and devise different accreditation procedures for optional and special function schools. The task force was instructed to formulate accreditation standards and procedures that would not impose a sterile uniformity on these schools, but at the same time would permit meaningful decisions to be made concerning the quality of their educational programs. The standards contained in this booklet were adopted by the commission on March 27, 1974. (Author/MLF)
