Summary: | The United Scholarship Service, Inc., a private non-profit organization, provides funds and programs for American Indians and Mexican American youth at the secondary and college level. This annual report includes a brief history of the organization, followed by a description of activities which the organization engaged in during 1969: (1) the Talent Search Program, funded by the U.S. Office of Education; (2) scholarship programs, including the Organization of Native American Students, funded by private and Federal sources; and (3) the Summer Student Project, funded by private and Federal sources.
