Summary:This Greek language guide is of assistance in carrying on simple conversations in Greek and is used in conjunction with records. All the words and phrases are written in a simplified spelling which is read like English. Useful words and phrases include greetings and general phrases, location, directions, numbers, asking for the name of something, asking for things, money, time, and other useful phrases. Additional expressions are included that the learner should be able to pronounce without hearing them. The learner will also be able to form sentences of his own by using the section called "fill-in sentences." Important signs that the learner/tourist will want to recognize and an alphabetical word list are included. (SW)
