Description
Summary:The basic objective of this investigation was to conduct an input-review of the 1968, 1972 and Title XX Federal Interagency Day Care Requirements (FIDCR) and to make inferences gleaned from the results as these relate to appropriate revisions. Respondents from a number of states were asked to review and comment on each requirement. The document includes sections on requirements for operators, for administering agencies, for in-home care and a section on the monitoring and enforcing of FIDCR. Each section contains general comments as well as a summary of reactions to individual section requirements. In general, most requirements were judged to be reasonable. (MS)
