These studies will culminate in a statewide plan for Georgia postsecondary learning that is planned for 1976. The first four studies are major data collection and analysis activities. They are: (1) the enrollment study, which recommends a comprehensive, 5- to 10-year historical analysis of enrollment trends; (2) the accessibility study, which provides several potential methodologies for gauging the accessibility of Georgia educational institutions in terms of geography, tuition, and the nature of the region; (3) the potential program duplication study, which recommends techniques for constructing a program inventory; and (4) the proprietary school report, providing a critique and analysis of a previous proprietary school survey. The fifth study reported, the issues and problems study, suggests how the GPEC can combine public hearings and small group meetings to provide additional data on educational issues. In the final section of this report suggestions are made on how informational and attitudinal inputs can be combined to produce a statewide plan for postsecondary learning in Georgia. (LBH)
