Summary:The paper describes the medical and education components of FIND (Florida Institute of Neuro-Dynamics), a private, nonprofit medical facility serving severely learning disabled, behaviorally disordered, autistic, and schizophrenic young adults. The program is reported to include a medical approach to etiology, with emphasis on allergy testing. The program is also noted to focus on behavioral assessment and intervention with individualized activities in the following areas: academic and social skills, gross and fine motor development, self identification, self care skills, and prevocational skills.
