The rates for fiscal 1992 secondary school dropouts include comparisons for the state, number of students enrolled, 16 different merged areas, by sex, and by grade distribution. Also included are K-12 enrollment categories showing the grade distribution of dropouts broken down by student population. A profile is provided of the percentage of total state enrollment versus the percentage of total dropouts with a focus on the grade distribution of dropouts by ethnicity and by merged area. The reader may also view county by county dropout statistics as well as a 23 year composite, 1970-1992, for the state by grades. The categories in the graduate follow-ups for 1991-1992 are broken down by the type of institution/program the graduate now attends, the type of employment, and other miscellaneous activities. These data are also structured by student populations and merged areas. The report concludes with a composite of graduates' primary status for the past 23 years. (RJM) | ||
