The document consists of the following: an overview of the different kinds of analysis performed in instructional systems design from the analysis phase through the design phase where learning analysis occurs; a brief discussion of the Gagne-Briggs model; a discussion of the process and products of the more simple analysis recommended; and an appendix. The appendix contains a sample learning objective worksheet and two completed learning objective worksheets which demonstrate a learning analysis. (CML)
