The curriculum framework outlines major concepts and content, laboratory activities, program specifics, and intended outcomes; the student performance standards guide lists each standard and the behaviors expected to show mastery of each standard. The guide also provides information on the following: (1) program implementation; (2) instructional resources (a listing of 26 print materials, 11 audiovisuals, and 6 software programs, with publishers' addresses); (3) facility design for communication electronics laboratories and classrooms, equipment, safety, maintenance, and liability; and (4) teacher professional development, teacher certification, professional organizations and support services.
