Item Description: | By Benjamin Fry. Apart from the title page, and some slight changes and rearrangements in the contents, the almanac is identical in content and typography with A Friend's astronomical diary: almanac for 1796, by Benjamin Fry (Boston: Etheridge for Blake). The calendar pages, eclipse notes, and other astronomical material are exact reprints. Evans attributed the almanac, as he did most of those issued under the Bickerstaff pseudonym, to Benjamin West.
