Nizar Hamdoon (May 18, 1944 – July 4, 2003) was Iraq's ambassador to United States from 1984 to 1988 and to the United Nations from 1992 to 1998. He was also the deputy Foreign Minister from 1988 to 1992 and undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry from 1999 to his retirement in 2001. Provided by Wikipedia
