Orestes Brownson

Brownson in 1863, by [[George Peter Alexander Healy|G. P. A. Healy]]. Orestes Augustus Brownson (September 16, 1803 – April 17, 1876) was an American intellectual and activist, preacher, labor organizer, and writer; a noted Catholic convert.
